My story

Adam Eskow

I became the 15th dentist in my family and two years later married the 16th. As a full-time periodontist and one of DC's "top dentists," you'd assume I'd be on top of the world. I had a bustling practice and a bright, smiley photo in Washingtonian magazine. But inside, I was not smiling at all.

I would sit in my back office staring at my computer screen, counting how many more patients I had to see before the day was over. As the minutes ticked by I'd feel more frustrated, more anxious, and more physically drained. And yet, what options were there? I had spent thirteen years becoming a highly-skilled, highly-specialized periodontist and had plans of buying my father's practice. But the thought of spending the next five, ten, fifteen years doing dentistry that I didn't want to do, sacrificing my body, trying to lead and motivate a staff to care about something that I didn't care for myself. All of this scared me more than I can say here.

That all changed for me when I took a small but important step. I decided to work with a coach.

That one decision changed everything. I went to Georgetown, got certified as an executive coach, and started helping people get to the next thing without having to figure it all out alone. The tough conversations. The decisions you keep sitting on. The moments where you need to trust yourself and you're not sure you can.

Eventually I went deep into AI and built ONWRD. Not the hype. The practical side, where you figure out which tools actually fit your business and make the day feel lighter.

Where I am now

I know what it feels like to have everything lined up and still feel like something's missing. That's who I work with now. People in that moment.

Whether it's how you lead, how you communicate, or how you get the right systems working for you instead of against you. I help people find their way through it.

You're not lazy. You don't need to "just focus." And this isn't a motivational problem. You need a clear path forward and someone who gets it.

I'm also building ONWRD, an AI coaching platform that helps people stay in motion when they'd normally stall out. It's the tool version of everything I believe about how people actually grow.

Let's talk.

If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear what you're working through. No pitch, no pressure. Just a conversation.
